In its milestone 10th year, The Game Awards has come to Fortnite in an unprecedented way. Players were able to play with friends, discover the 2023 nominees, and make history by voting for their favorite Fortnite experience. While in the game, they could explore the gorgeous environment and collect all the trophies for an XP boost. Gaming legend and host of The Game Awards, Geoff Keighley, made a special appearance in the trailer as a custom Fortnite avatar to encourage the community to celebrate the best in gaming by voting for the Fortnite Island of the Year.
